I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines in Feb 2016
Interview
Long application process; I applied over a year ago, and got a phone screen the last week of January. after the phone screen was over they put me through to a face-to-face interview that was scheduled for February 18, 2016. They flew me into the interview. While I was in the waiting area, I browsed the employee magazines in order to get an idea of what's most important to Southwest and its employees. when I was called into the interview room, there were three interviewers there. All three were very friendly, the woman was very welcoming and nice. The two men were also extremely amicable. Made me feel very welcome. It was a very easy interview, and they hired me on the spot. Once I got the offer, they were very welcoming and even gave me hugs. Made me feel like I was a part of the Southwest family already.
