I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sprout Social (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2023
Interview
Interview process was lengthy and more robust than other interviews I've done. Ultimately decided the job wasn't the right fit for me as I wanted to pursue a position that didn't involve so much cold-calling.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
-Tell me about a time where you didn't meet a metric
-Workplace Challenge and how did I handle it?
Tell me about a time you worked with a difficult co-worker.
Tell me a situation where you had to explain something in full to someone who wasn't tech savvy and how you handled it.
Initial phone call with the recruiter. If moved onto round two you should expect meeting with a hiring manager with a mock call at the end. Round three (final round) you present your findings on a prospect to a panel of interviewers.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Give us an example of a time you faced a rejection/objection, how did you overcome it?
Pleasant and efficient. They asked pointed questions, described the role and culture well, and requested a second interview. The only reason I didn't land the job was because of my location, at the time.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sprout Social in May 2023
Interview
Good overall process considering the role. 3 steps. Phone screen, interview with an SDR manager that includes a role-play, then a panel interview. Accepted another job before the panel interview, so never had the chance to do that part.
