I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Starbucks (Windsor Locks, CT) in May 2008
Interview
The manager sat down with me after I handed in my application. She was extremely friendly and put me at ease right away. Some of the questions were a little corporate, but she basically guided me through them. When talking about the company it was almost as if she was bragging, all the discounts, benefits, and the "Perks", I was sold. At the end she describes the position and gives me an offer, which I couldn't help but accept.
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
