The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Starbucks in Sep 2010
Interview
It was pretty simple. I filled out the application online and called in the next day to see if they got it. Had my first interview about a week later. She set me up with another manager for a second interview a few days later. It was nice, like a conversation instead of a rigid question answer thing. Mostly to determine if you're sociable and outgoing.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time when you took the leadership position and what you did with it.
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
