I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm (Houston, TX) in Oct 2012
Interview
First took a assessment where I have to answer personality/situational questions. A few days later was scheduled for interview over the phone. Passed the phone interview and 3 weeks later interviewed face to face with panel of about 4 people. The interviewers told me that each claim rep had to go through 17 weeks of training taking multiple tests where you had to get a passing score or risk losing your job. The job offer is contingent based upon if you pass all the claims tests. Overall the I did well in the interview except that there was one guy there that was looking at his watch while i was answering a question which I thought was pretty rude. Other than that it appears to be a ok company but not the best.
