The process started with a recruiter reaching out to me about the opportunity rather than a direct application on my side.
The overall process took around four weeks and included several stages: an initial recruiter call, a hiring manager interview, a technical interview, and a final team-fit discussion.
After the technical interview, HR contacted me to share that the feedback from the previous stages had been very positive and then scheduled the final team-fit interview with members of the team.
Overall, the conversations with the engineers were positive and the technical discussion focused on real-world experience rather than theoretical questions.
The main difficulty was around the final stage. From a candidate perspective, the objectives and evaluation criteria of that conversation were not very clear, so it was difficult to understand what aspects were being evaluated or what the team was specifically looking for.
After completing all rounds, the final response was a generic rejection email without explanation. I also tried to request feedback afterwards but unfortunately did not receive a response.
