I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at SurveyMonkey (Palo Alto, CA) in May 2015
Interview
Went through the process of a short phone interview followed by a couple hour long on-site interview. Questions were fairly straight forward and ranged in difficulty. Wrapped up the interview with a more HR focused interviewer. The interview questions were general data structures and algorithms questions along side a couple of more interest focused questions.
Phone interview then video interview with 2 employees. It was straightforward, and the people were nice. I got a call saying I didn't get the position, which was nice that they let me know.
I did a phone screen for round 1 for twenty minutes. Then did a zoom interview for thirty mins for the second round. Everyone was super nice. Would apply more to future positions!
The process went smoothly. Recruiter, hiring manager and the team were super nice. The interviews were conversational and casual, mostly about my background and interest, and some behavioral questions. Although I didn't get offer, the firm did have an impression on me. I will definitely try again for full-time
