I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Susquehanna International Group (Bala Cynwyd, PA) in Dec 2022
Interview
3 rounds Phone screen - recruiter Asks you about resume and deep dives into your previous internship and what you did. Why SIG etc 1 hour technical Come as early as u can to the zoom link. They will give u 10 mins or so to look at the problem beforehand. Then 2 engineers come in, introductions and maybe 1-2 questions abt anything u talked abt (maybe u mentioned a past internship so they might ask a follow up etc). They will go away for 30 whole mins for u to work alone on coding problem. They will still be in call minding their own business. They will come back after 30 mins.. hopefully u passed all their test cases. They will grill u on the code u wrote. Try to understand it at first then ask u maybe for the choice of data structure or code style. Time complexity. They will then go a little deeper on edge cases and modifications to the problem. The problem is actually very easy usually - its OOP (usually I heard its either a for loop or nested for loop question solution) and then they say ok now "this thing is no longer the same", how would that change the problem etc. They will ask you to improve your already existing algorithm if u can. Question: Design movie database Final (3 sub rounds - 3 hrs total) 1. Technical - Recruiter might say no coding, but this is still coding heavy round - just emphasis on OOP class design. Keep searching glassdoor and you will see many people got asked same question: design grocery checkout system. They dont care about syntax or language, they want to see you make the classes and methods to design the checkout system. 2. Project review - Recruiter again says that you can prepare a project to demo to engineer, but engineer will just pick whatever they want out of your resume and deep dives on that one project. It could be any project on your resume. 3. Director call - chill call. He just wants to see what you are interested in for projects. He will also deep dive into your previous internship.

Interview
OA (code signal GCA, 4 questions 70 minutes) -> Recruiter call (30 mins) -> 90 min technical screen. Presumably after this point would be onsite/in-office interviews but didn't make it there.
Had to do work in Python in a live interview session. Talked with hiring manager about resume. Overall it was not too bad. The interviewers were nice throughout the entire process.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Susquehanna International Group (Sydney) in Nov 2025
Interview
Applied through Discovery Day, had an OA and then a behavioural interview. After that did a dsa and sys design interview in pairs at Discovery Day. Then got invited for an online dsa interview. After that was superday consisting of an in person system design interview (OOP) and a manager interview with two managers.
