I applied for Syngenta during these Covid19 days, I'm based in Karachi, so the position I applied for was on their company website which traced me down to this location. First was the interview call, which was pretty general and the questions were based around what HR generally asks. Then came the long waiting period of around 2-3 months, and just when I was loosing all hope, I got an email about a 2 day virtual assessment center on zoom. First day was mainly about short case studies and the 2nd day was built around aptitude tests and creativity (such as making horse carriage out of paper). Then after like 2-3 weeks, I get another emailing that I have an interview with the line managers. There, I learn that I'm applying for their Hub office, which was a shock to me because the MTO was supposed to be rotational in departments plus the location was way off, I told the HR person and she scheduled my interview with the Head Office people. All or their questions were pretty general and more or less linked to my domain (SCM). After that, I was told that I'll be contacted. Well, after 2 weeks when I emailed HR, she said that they're still in interview processes, I thought it's okay, but when I emailed them again after 2 more week, I didn't get any reply. I obviously have concluded that I'm not getting the job, but for a multinational company to have this level of Incompetency being shown after hanging the candidate through numerous hectic processes and getting their hopes up and then not even reply back on their status is really disheartening and just plain wrong.
