Most (all) T-Mobile positions can be found online, www.tmobile.com/careers. Expect a call in 1-2 weeks after applying (if your qualifications and skills fits the criteria) for a possible in-store interview. Initially I had a phone interview. The purpose of this is to screen out applicants.
Some phone interviewing techniques: show enthusiasm, make sure there are no background noise, avoid salary discussions, do not smoke or chew gum, most importantly, be prepared.
The phone interview questions I had are:
Tell me more about you. Why do you want to work here? And, what makes you qualified for the position.
I was scheduled for an in-store interview. The in-store interview in my opinion was a little more difficult because there were more questions regarding your past experiences.
The questions I had are:
Describe a situation you had dealing with conflicts.
Give an example of going the extra yard.
Explain a problem you had working in a group.
Explain a problem you had dealing with a conflicted, demanding customer.
Those are some of the questions that I had. Of course, each questions should be clearly detailed, explain why it's a problem, the steps you took, and lastly, the result of your actions.
Right after the first in-store interview, the Retail Store Manager set me up for a second interview.
Luckily for me, the second in-store interview was with a different Retail Store Manager and I was asked the same questions.
Finally, I am at the stage right now where I have to wait for the background check to come through.
Good luck applicants!
