I met a manager at job conference at a local high school, she asked if I was interested and we set up an "interview". When i got to the store she had me fill out a fairly length application, then asked me if I thought i would be able to learn how to use the register easily, when I said yes she asked what hours i could work and said i was highered.

It was a two parter, one on the phone, and one in person. It was a typical interview with the standard "why do you want to work here" and then what they expect from you as a employee.
Very straightforward and simple. It was a phone call with the hiring manager. Super easy peasy, nothing to stress about. Just be confident and kind. It took all of maybe half an hour, maybe less.
