I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Tableau Software (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2020
Interview
Smoothest interview process I'd ever been through. Applied through an online portal and was contacted by the recruiter 3 days later. Answered a few STAR questions online and got an interview request after about a week. Everything had moved to a virtual environment at that point, but the recruiter was super patient and made sure I had the resources to succeed before we started. Basic STAR questions, why the company, etc. Very customer-service focused questions. I had an interview with the team leads a few days later and was made an offer within a week after my last interview. Everyone was more than happy to provide feedback and answer any questions that I had about the program. Fantastic experience overall! Only thing I'd say to any applicants is let your passion show! If you're legitimately interested, the interview isn't tough at all.
I applied online. I interviewed at Tableau Software
Interview
A Skype interview with the recruiter who was totally unfriendly, was not looking at me during the interview. He didn't seem to be interested in the process, however the feedback was positive
The process with the recruiter was easy to schedule the interviews. The actual interview was a panel process with managers in multiple departments. I had 2 follow up interviews that were scheduled over a 3 week period. The actual interview process was long and drawn out. I had to send multiple emails to follow up to find out I didn't get the position.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Tableau Software
Interview
It was awful process, I did 3 interviews and succeeded all of them and after 2 months of back and forth emails, I have been told that they were not able to send me an offer because of changes to the position they previously advertised. They have the worst recruitment process ever and their recruiters especially in EMEA are not professional at all.
