The Data Ocean questions you mentioned were never meant to be a part of your interview process. We were changing assessment providers at the time when these questions got added accidentally. Our team promptly made changes when we became aware of it. Because of this situation, we implemented new procedures to prevent such incidents from occurring again in the future.
We’re always gathering information on how we can improve our processes from both candidates and new employees. For example, the one-way video interview process you mentioned was implemented two years ago in response to feedback from new hires. It helps to speed up the time from applying to hiring and has proven to be very successful.
