Overall my interview experience with Teladoc(Livongo) was quite negative.
First Round: 30 minutes into the interview , one of the interviewer just randomly throws a coding question at me(no coderpad) or pre intimated. I was told to code in my own IDE and share screen. I was interviewing with them on my personal laptop and had to setup an IDE during the call. Given they interviewers were so ill prepared they made it worse by throwing in a coding challenge that involved parsing a very complicated json(hash maps and lists). The code itself would not have been that tough however to understand a json response that big and complex would have taken a considerable amount of time(it was no way a ~30min code).
Second Round: Though an experienced engineer i felt he was interviewing the first time. He did not even care about my resume, he just randomly asked about kubernetes, logging sidecar etc and began chuckling with his colleague as they apparently solved it recently.
I have failed interviews before however this was first of a kind where the interview was so poorly conducted. I do wish they up their interview game in the future.
