The interview was a panel interview, relatively relaxed environment - it was conducted in the cafeteria area, interviewers were kind and respectful, It was evident that professional attire was appreciated.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesla (Fremont, CA) in Aug 2016
Interview
1. Initial phone screen with Tesla recruiter.
2. Phone screen with member of department.
3. Grammar / Language test.
4. Follow up phone screen with recruiter to determine placement / fit in role.
5. On site interview - Met 3 team members, recruiter who screened me, factory tour. (Elon Musk was on site).
6. In my case, email from recruiter saying I did not receive position.
7. Final follow up phone call with recruiter explaining why I was not chosen.
