I applied through a recruiter. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Tesla (Austin, TX) in Jul 2021
Interview
Recruiter was great! The second and third interviews were a bit odd. Seems like the company is still run like a start up and culture is not the priority. 1st round - recruiter answering culture based questions 2nd round - hiring manager 3rd round - panel of maybe department leaders?

Question 1
Tell me about X project on your resume? Very consumed with rewinder technology
Pretty good the interview went really well ,My core strength is my ability to collaborate effectively across teams. In my last role, I bridged gaps between marketing and sales, ensuring projects aligned with both goals. I also have strong problem-solving skills
The interviewer was very confident but sometimes wrong! It makes no sense for him to be the one judging the next candidates. I quickly lost hope in their system and decided not to continue if that reflects the team.
Fast-paced, demanding interviews with deep technical grilling, real-world problem solving, cross-functional questions, and culture fit. Expect high standards, rapid iterations, ownership mindset, and emphasis on execution over theory. Technical analysis and development are the key
