I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Aberdeen, MD) in Mar 2011
Interview
It was pretty simple. I got the email saying I would be receiving a call. About two days later, they called to give me the phone interview. The lady seemed pretty pleasant, asked the basic interview questions. At the end, she transfered me to get scheduled for an interview. THAT GUY was kind of, whatever. Anyway, had my interview yesterday. It was quick. The guy just read the questions from a booklet and wrote my answers down. I was hired after only about 10 minutes.

Question 1
How would you handle a customer that was in a bad mood?
just a conversation with the HR team, asked the basic questions and nothing to stressful. they made the process very easy and the interview was actually truely with only one single person
5 minutes not even an interview just acceptance. I walked in and they said when can you start and if I can submit to a drug test and background check I said yes and left.

Interview
The interview process was a friendly and professional experience overall. The managers are nice and accommodating to students at least at this location as I was a current student at Oregon state university and needed to work around a college schedule.
