I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Gulfport, MS) in Mar 2015
Interview
I applied online. Several months later I received a phone call from The Home Depot. The woman I spoke to gave me details about an available position. We discussed hours and pay. Then she set up a face-to-face interview with HR. After that interview, HR offered me a job on the condition that my background check and drug test passed. After about a week the results came back, they called me in for a second interview and I started working the next week.

The interview process was straightforward, focusing mainly on understanding benefits and basic expectations. It felt more like an orientation than a traditional interview, with an emphasis on introducing the role and responsibilities.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Grand Prairie, TX) in Mar 2025
Interview
Good interview. The interviewer was very nice and respectful. Standard questions and nothing that would be unexpected. I would be happy to have a similar interview again in the future if I apply again.

Simple questions asking about your life, why you’re here, have you had any other experience in this area. Nothing technical, just making sure you are who you say you are and can work as a team.
