      Applications Support Analyst Interview

      Aug 28, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at The Trade Desk (New York, NY) in Jul 2017

      Interview

They were extremely understanding of my scheduling limitations as I was working full time while job searching. The recruiters stayed in contact with me with every step, and if I had a question I would get an answer within a few hours at most. The first conversation with the recruiter was over the phone, then I went through another phone interview with one of the team managers. The second step was an in-person interview in the NY office, I met with 4 different support members and interviewed with each of them, they gave me details of the role from their perspective and asked questions to see where I am in my career and where I want to go. The last step was a video interview with the director.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Trade Desk (New York, NY) in Jul 2018

      Interview

First I had a phone interview followed by a 2-hour in-person interview with multiple members of their team. I ended up not getting the position but they let me know by sending me an automated email about "...after reviewing your resume, we have decided not to proceed." This is not something you send to someone after a 2 hour in-person interview. I emailed them asking if this was sent by mistake and if not, what could I have done differently. They did not respond.
