Interview
At first, you will have to do a test. The test is nothing more than testing your reading skill and English language. If you pass the test you will have an interview with the Manager. The manager wants to know your attitude and your native language and importantly, your English. The more you prove your English level the more chance you get the job. The manager also want to make sure that you will agree to work in Malaysia for a long time. You don't have to present your skills and experience because you will be trained again in favour of the company ways. In general, English and attitude are two important factors for the manager to make decision whether to select you or not.

The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (London, England)
Interview
Interviewers didn't seem to have any understanding of the position they were interviewing for. Asked hypothetical research scenarios that just wouldn't ever happen. When I tried to explain research processes relating to these hypotheticals it was obvious they didn't understand. Didn't have any questions relating to my experience or skills and when I tried to bring things up I was told it wasn't relevant, but it was, they clearly just did not understand the role and what it entails.
