I applied in-person. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Tiffany & Co. (New York, NY) in Jul 2019
Interview
I applied online and finished their pre-hire assessment but nobody has reached out for 1 week, so I dropped off my resume in person and had a quick interview with the department manager directly, then he scheduled me for another interview in 5 days to meet with other managers, which was exciting. The 2nd interview had 2 rounds, the first round I meet with the assistant manager and another manager who didn't introduce her position; 2nd round I meet with the global customer service manager. The managers are very polite and seems very satisfied with my responses to all their questions. The last manager walked me out and she told me she liked me a lot and I should hear from them about the hiring in 2 weeks. I'm very sincere person so I turned away a few other interviews and start to focus on its product knowledge, company culture learning for a strong start.
HOWEVER, 3 weeks passed by, there is no communication or reply to my follow-up email. The position was still open. Another 2 weeks, I finally got an email and informed me that I wasn't chosen. I was so disappointed and angry, it's really not a respectful nor professional way to treat any applicants. It's the worst interview experience I have every had!
