I applied for the Director of Acquisition Marketing role. At first, the process seemed to go smoothly. I heard from the recruiter within a few days of applying. We scheduled a phone interview. The call went well, and I was invited to meet with the hiring manager. This is when things unraveled. During my scheduled interview, the hiring manager never called. I was blown off. I reached out to the recruiter and explained that the hiring manager must have been held up last minute. The recruiter apologized and quickly rescheduled. Then, the same thing happened again. Yes, I was blown off a second time. This time I sent the recruiter an email stating that I would like to withdraw my application. This was beyond disrespectful.
