I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Total Quality Logistics (Raleigh, NC) in Apr 2015
Interview
It is a three step process. First is on the phone. Easy. Just getting to know you and what you're looking for. I did my last two steps the same day. It was at the office, where you take an online test that requires some knowledge of geography, the company, and math. Then I interviewed with the recruiter. The third part was an interview with the boss. Interview was HARD...definitely the hardest interview I've had. Nothing seemed to please him. Left thinking maybe I didn't get it. They told me they'll let me know in a week. Instead I got a call the next day saying I got it. The process was real quick, maybe a week and a half or two.

The process was smooth, and the staff was friendly. There were about 3-4 rounds of calls and in-person interviews. The first in-person is a shadow of 2 current employees and an interview. The second is a knowledge test and an interview with the hiring manager.

The interview process was thorough and smooth. The phone interview to the in person interviews are informative and give good insight into what it is like to work there. Overall the interview process at TQL is solid.
