I applied online and was contacted by a HR lady from an entirely different office than the one I applied to. She did a short interview and has sent me some texts to proofread. After this stage she called me that she would like to have another interview with the manager, but not the one from the team I applied to but from other country. He never called and the HR lady contacted me again to set up a new date. We agreed to have an interview some time later and half an hour before it she's sent me an e-mail saying that "there has been a change in the process" and the interview is not going to take place. At this point I was already sure I don't want to work for them because the hiring practices seem really shady, just as one can find in the reviews on glassdoor. She called me again about a week later and asked me to have an interview the next day, but this time I was supposed to talk to a person from the office I applied to. A man called and we had a short chat about my background and why I wanted to move to another country. I asked about the bad reviews of the company and he provided me with an usatisfactory answer, stating that they're an american company with american values and when they take over another company in different country there's a culture clash, he added something about "political issues" and "people taking things personally". Definitely not a company you want to work for, you can feel that they don't respect people at all.
