Travel Guard International interview questions

After a phone interview, I met with 2 members of the software development team. They asked about my experience at my previous job, what kind of technologies I worked with, what kind of projects I worked on. It was somewhat laid back, a get-to-know-you type deal. Later a manager was brought in. After an hour or so, they said I was a great fit, and I left with an offer, pending a background check. The background check was supposed to take 2-4 weeks. However, they said that the background check never arrived. I checked in with them several times after that, but they claimed it was never received. Finally, they said they gave up waiting for it, and offered the position to someone else. I called the background check company, which confirmed the background check was completed and delivered, on schedule. TravelGuard denied receiving it for several weeks after that. Very disappointing.
