The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Travelers in Dec 2011
Interview
Through school, I introduced myself to the recruiter and emailed him my information. I had a phone interview a few days later with him and he let me now he would keep me in mind as positions became available in underwriting. About a month later, I received a call from the recruiter and he let me know there were 4 trainee positions. We set up times for me to interview and I ended up receiving 3 job offers out of the four divisions I interviewed for at the company. I had 11 interviews total, very exhausting but worth the effort. Advice: know the company your are applying for, why you want to work for them, their competition, and know why you would be good for the job you are applying for. They will ask you about your strengths and weaknesses, sales questions, etc.

Question 1
What are your strengths? How do they apply to the job you are applying for?
I applied online. I interviewed at Travelers (Hartford, CT) in Mar 2021
Interview
I had applied for another position in the past with the same recruiter as this role. She made time for an interview for this role to explain it and what they would be looking for. The recruiter had mostly spoken about the role and gave me some practice questions that would be on the interview and told me I would hear back in a couple weeks. After waiting almost two weeks I got a call from her saying that I got the second interview with the hiring manager on business Skype for an hour. The interview with the hiring manager was very conversational and she stated that it was as much of interview for them as it was for me. She explained in more detail of what the team does and who would be working with me. She asked the typical questions such as describing one self, what I would like to do in 5 years, a time when I had a conflict and how I resolved it. They are very much looking for a team player with the knowledge of what product line they are working on. I would highly recommend researching about the team you are interviewing for and what products they cover but also behavioral questions and the smart method!

Interview
I applied for the position in June/July. I received an e-mail from a field recruiter for a phone interview at the end of August. The field recruiter interviewed me for about 45 mins. She stated she was going to pass her notes along to the hiring manager. I received an e-mail a few weeks later asking for an onsite interview. I interviewed onsite for about 3 hours. The first hour interview was with two people, the second hour was with one person, and the third was with two people. The interview questions were basic, name a time when.. have you ever.... etc.
