I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UBS (New York, NY) in Jan 2012
Interview
Tough screening process, Like any investment banking interview it is long gruelling and painful if you aren't completely prepared.
The phone interviews were standard, they just want to know if you are intelligent and well spoken so if you get invited to a super day they won't be shunned for going to bat for you.
Super day was very interesting. A great team and pretty firm.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Walk me through a DCF analysis and presented a company and financials, ect..
The process consisted of a Hirevue type interview, then superday with mix of standard technicals with more senior members of the team, had to discuss company / news I found interesting
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard technical questions, behavioral with more senior bankers
Applied and got an email for a HireVue. They gave 7 days to complete it. It was very straightforward and easy. Just like other HireVues and not too many questions. Not the hardest questions in the world but not the easiest. Just an average experience.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at UBS in Sep 2025
Interview
Standard technical questions, tell me about yourself, where you see yourself in 5 years, pitch a stock, walk through a deal you’ve done, time to ask them questions. Some of the ppl can obviously look checked out so don’t take it personally.
