      Customer Center Clerk Interview

      Aug 5, 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at UPS

      Interview

Applied on the UPS jobs website. The online application is short and not very detailed. Received a call about a week later to schedule an interview for a few days later. The interview lasted about an hour and included giving additional work history, answering basic questions about how you have handled/would handle certain situations, and authorizing a background check. Had a tour of the building with two other applicants with a general overview of operations. Received a phone call a couple days later offering me the job. He informed me it might be a month or two later before I heard back from him, but the job was mine if I still wanted it at the time. He called me back about six weeks later to schedule orientation. If I remember correctly, the orientation lasted about five hours, and included safe working methods, basic information about how the union works, pay information, job expectations, and signing all the normal hiring documents. No drug test was given.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

As always the most difficult question was "what would you consider your biggest weakness" and answering without harming your chances of getting the job.
