It all started with filling out the very long application online, which I think is a screening all by itself. After the online part, you have to schedule to take a assessment test in one of the USPS authorized centers, and once you receive your score, you have to wait until you are called, which I did some research and for some people it took weeks, months, for me it took a week. The good thing is that once the online application is filled out, you can apply for other jobs with just a simple click., After that, a week went by and the postmaster of the location I applied for gave me a call for an interview, I filled out lots of paperwork and after about a week I was called to do a drug test. A week after that I was called again by the postmaster and she offered me the job. I would then receive email instructions for training in Boston, MA and after about two weeks, after finishing training and the RCA academy training I was assigned to work at my postal station. It took about a month, however training is paid for.
