I applied online. The process took 9 months. I interviewed at United Airlines (Houston, TX) in Jun 2022
Interview
They bring your whole interview group to a room. You watch a presentation about the job and the pay along with benefits. They they introduce all the people to interview your group. They group you guys all up by bases like, DEN, SFO, JFK, ect. After this they will call out 2 bases at a time to do the group interview. They go over the cart you will put together with your team. One team has an fully booked flight and the other has less passengers than the other. You will need to share supplies with the other flight and make your carts correctly. This is also timed. After both bases will sit down at a table and they will ask everyone individually how they felt it went and what their team did and their part. after they will bring you back to the room to draw and you wait for your 1v1 interview. At this point women were cut because of their tattoos, so if you have tattoos find out their tattoo policy before wasting your time coming to this interview. A man came and got me for my 1v1 and he asked me 6 questions. He then brought me up to I think the 17th floor where I waited for this lady to bring me to the "safety check". This is where they check if youre too fat or too short and try to play it off like it is a safety issue. Anyways, I got cut here cause I couldn't reach the desired height which is 82 inches. If you cant reach this don't waste your time and money. They should have this listed on the job qualifications so they don't waste short peoples money and time. The woman then told me I could have other jobs like ticket counter and I think baggage person. Over all I feel like they should list physical qualifications on the job to not waste peoples time and money and I feel like it would help them too. Overall I had a good experience and I used it as practice for airlines that actually embrace diversity and don't just advertise that they do.

Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
