I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (New York, NY) in Aug 2015
Interview
I applied online, I did a video interview, 3 days letter i got an email saying i was selected for a face to face interview. I flew out a week later to the interview location (the flight was free) and the next day i did the in person interview at the airport. There were about 30 applicants there. The recruiters showed us a video about United and then talked to us for a while and answers questions. After that we did one on one interviews and if you moved on from that you were given a second interview.

Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
