I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Newark, NJ) in Aug 2015
Interview
I applied to this position on August 1st, by the 6th I was invited to video interview. On August 16th I was invited to f2f interview. I went to my interview the 25th and will start training September 14th. Overall it was a fast process for me.
Piece of advice, BE EARLY! while waiting to begin your interview be nice to other people, talk to other people in a natural way, don't be fake, people can read that in your face. Also while waiting I notice 2 people walking around with a company tag not in uniform with a clipboard checking us and taking note. Dress nice, dress the part, if you are afraid to talk to stranger don't even bother go. Sit down keeping your posture. Guys, don't throw yourself as potato bag on the chair!! even at the waiting area, be a nice host.

Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
