Online application, video interview, and then information session/face to face interview.
Folks! You've got to look back through your employment history and remind yourselves of all the situations you have been in and how you handled them - as well as the outcomes!
Believe it or not, there is far much more worth, to you, then you lead yourself to believe!
I was determined to succeed, and want the career! The people I've met along the way had increased the positive energy through all interactions! When they say to be yourself, do not be the "you" that you have grown comfortable with being at idle!
The video interview can be a bit nerve wrecking, yes; but it is the perfect opportunity to showcase the best you can offer without scrutiny of others. Picture it is you, that is interviewing yourself. If you can chat with people that you do not know personally, can be a polite, kindhearted, and positive, you already know the rewards of your personality!
Everyone i had met in the airport, on the plane, on the shuttle bus, at the hotel, at the information session, and during the interviews, have been extremely positive and exciting experiences!
There is a world out there for you to explore, and you need to realize that there is greatness in everyone (including you!)
The process, for me, had taken about a month in total (yep). I received an e-mail the day after applying online, that invited me to complete a Hirvue interview. After completing the interview, i was my own worst enemy for the next couple weeks. Until I had received another invitation to re-do the Hirevue interview (my computer was updated to windows 10.. so there were technical difficulties).
It was exciting to hear back and to give it another go.
Within a couple days after completing the video interview, i had received and email congratulating me on advancing to the next stage of the interview process.
In short: I was flown out to Houston, TX, for the information session and face to face interviews.
Wear conservative business casual. Consider the moment you step into the airport as the start of the interview process, and it not ending until you are back home*
I cannot stress enough that you must carry yourself in a professional manner at all times.
My interviewers were extremely friendly, energetic, positive, and awesome people to be around!
Learn from your interview, too.
I may not have leaked out specific questions, locations, persons, or things that you can prepare ahead of time; because you need to know yourself and your accomplishments that will be a great fit for the position. Research the career, the company, and yourself. Those will be the best things you can prepare yourself with.
Confidence will come from your determination and knowledge.
Keep positive!
