I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at United Airlines (Rockville, MD) in Feb 2016
Interview
It was very simple, applied one day and got the interview notification the next day....however by it being my first time doing a video interview I wasn't fully prepared and GlassDoor makes it quite difficult being that I studied most of the questions on this site and only was asked one of them...I was really bummed and of course was not selected for a face to face but from what I hear even getting the video interview is a milestone and very tough to land. My words of advice is to NEVER give up, if the front door closes just go around back!

Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
