I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Vanguard (Malvern, PA) in Oct 2013
Interview
You first go through a phone interview and if they like you, they will ask you to come in for a full day interview. It starts off with breakfast and networking; them telling you about the company - the basics. Then you will get 1 on 1 interviews with 2 different people. There is lunch and networking with managers during this time. There will also be a panel of employees who are there to answer all of your questions. And finally you finish off with an activity. Make sure to participate because HR will be at a table new by watching.

Question 1
Give me an example of a time you had to deal with something difficult and how did you handle it.
Simple process. Went through Drexel with the co-op program. One phone call and then one in person interview with direct manager and then a week later received the offer. Pretty straight forward. Great company and good people.
The process spanned 3 rounds. First was resume and technical questions. Second was coding DSA and regressions. Third was research questions. Overall people were very nice, the process went smooth and fairly quickly.

Interview
Very chill, just behavior questions. Asked me about my communication style, what courses/knowledge of data science/machine learning that I had. Why I wanted to work in finance. It was very enjoyable/conversational.
