At this juncture, Veeva is in the middle of a growth spurt and trying to hire a lot of people while maintaining their culture. They have not sacrificed the process to hire "anyone." My interview process took 2 months. I had an initial recruiter interview, and 3 subsequent interviews. One is an hour long 'get to know you' interviewed, followed by the Candidate Exercise, and then a resume review. The Candidate Exercise is a make or break interview. They outline the requirements needed and give you a week to prepare a Project Plan and a demonstration of their application. How you do is simply up to you. There application was new to me, and I spent 30-35 hours prepping for my interview. The resume review ended up be a retrospective on my career. Why did I make this decision at this juncture, etc. For me, this was interesting because I have not given much thought on HOW I got to this point my career. Time flies when you are having fun. Don't miss out on your opportunities to interview because you are interviewing them as they interview you.
