I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Visa Inc.
Interview
The first two interviews were normal- the first one was behavioral with the standard questions, and the second one was a technical interview. However, they proceeded to have me interview several more times. In total, I had six or seven interviews, which I felt was overkill for an internship role, especially since they were just rehashing the same behavioral questions with slightly different wording. What was even more frustrating was that my fourth interview was supposed to be my final one, as that what was stated in the email. I started interviewing in late October and did not get a decision until January. I spent a lot of time and effort during these interviews, often working around work and finals to fit them into my schedule. While I understand that I may not have been what they were looking for, it seemed to me that both I and the team would have had enough information to make a decision after the third or fourth interview, and the last couple interviews were complete wastes of my time.
the interview typically includes an initial recruiter screen, technical or role specific assessment, and manager or panel interviews, focusing on skills, problem-solving, and cultural fit, often concluding with final HR discussion.
The Visa Corp interview process typically consists of a 4–6 week, 3-to-5 step process: initial recruiter screening, a technical online assessment, and 2-4 rounds of virtual or in-person interviews with hiring managers and team members. Focus areas include behavioral questions, technical skills (DSA, SQL, coding), and case studies.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What do your parents do for work? Where do you live? Do you commute?
The interview was two rounds with a case study and a personal fit round. The interviewers were very friendly. The case study was an hour long and required some finance knowledge.
