I started with a phone technical screen which consisted of a simple enough programming exercise over a cloud based whiteboard. I went into the office for a round of "Panel" style interviews (2 people per panel) I saw 2 panels.
The interviewers (on both panels) were cold + unfriendly and really didn't give me any reason to be interested in working with them or for the company. They flat out refused to answer my questions about the company or the position.
The in-person interview utilized A-Typical developer interview questions:
1. Whiteboard a Luhn algorithm for me (Who re-invents a wheel like that on a whitboard?)
2. Walk me through your code with a sample set of data
3. Explain how you might implement reusable modules code in Ansible
The general feeling I got from them was that they wanted to interrogate me rather than determine if i was a good fit. If this culture is what prevails at the company its days are numbered. I would NOT encourage others to apply.
