The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Waitrose (London, England) in Apr 2014
Interview
The situational and judgement test were challenging but if you have experience in retail or transferable skills this should be ok.
The interview seemed ok, with the questions as listed below. The interviewer was the interviewer though I try to remain neutral as some interviewers can get try to catch you off guard and talk as though you already have the role.
The group interview was challenging but with preparation (tips and advice) you would be fine.
The experience was generally ok.
They asked some basic questions; it was a very friendly atmosphere; the recruitment process is very straightforward; I think it takes no more than two weeks. First a telephone interview, then an interview with the managers
it was a normal customer service interview with competency and situational questions and questions about yourself and all that kind of stuff. very basic part-time job interview that anyone could get through
Completed an online assessment that was harder than it seemed and then did an in person interview with one of the managers. She was very friendly and I felt at ease.
