I applied online. I interviewed at Walgreens (Boston, MA) in Jul 2014
Interview
The interview process was 3 weeks. I completed the online application along with in store assessment. I received an email from walgreens after i completed the online application to complete in store assessment. I went to nearby walgreens and asked the manager for the assessment. He set up the test which was fair and simple. After a week, I followed up and he set up an interview next week. The interview contained expected questions and was taken by business manager and pharmacy manager. It had the situation questions and a few personal questions. Both of them were very warm and welcoming. Later, I was given the pharmacy tour. I was told that I would be getting an answer by the end of next week,. A week later, I got the email from them for the job offer.

Interview
I applied online and was contacted to schedule an interview. The interview was straightforward and mostly focused on my availability, customer service experience, teamwork, and why I wanted to work in a pharmacy setting. They asked behavioral questions about handling difficult customers, working with coworkers, and staying organized in a busy environment. The pharmacist interviewed me and was professional, explained the role, expectations, and next steps clearly. The store manager was also present and took notes. I am still waiting to hear back about an offer.

Question 1
Take me through a day in the life of your previous place of employment.
Very easy and laid back interview process. Unfortunately, Walgreens doesn’t have a great retention rate so they hire who they can as long as you tell them you have an interest in working long term.
