Disorganized and Unprofessional Interview Process.
Unfortunately, this was a highly negative interview experience. The process spanned several weeks, involving five rounds (initially with the recruiter, hiring manager, two senior legal team members and then two more senior legal team members). During the final round, the recruiter’s assistant mistakenly scheduled the interview in the wrong time zone. Not only was this error never acknowledged, but no one involved apologized for the confusion.
After the interviews, I received an email from the recruiter expressing “exciting feedback and next steps.” Despite providing my availability, which was extremely flexible, I repeatedly received out-of-office responses or PTO notifications. On three separate occasions, the recruiter promised to call back but never did. This ghosting behavior felt deeply disrespectful, particularly after investing significant time and effort into the process.
Adding to the frustration, I recently noticed the position has been reposted, months after the company went completely silent. Overall, this experience demonstrated a lack of organization and professionalism, wasting candidates’ time.
