I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart (Akron, OH) in Jan 2019
Interview
Applied and went to a job fair at the DC where they show u everything around the building and what you will be doing. Was called before I got home (25 minute drive). They told me to come in the next day. I took a PAT test to see if you are physically fit enough to do the job. Afterwards, I picked the department I wanted to work as well as the schedule. Then I was told to go take a urine test, and one day later I was called in to start training that Monday.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you do the job, what department do you want to work on and what schedule works best for you.
Phone interviews are typically straightforward and easy to manage. The key is being punctual, respectful, and professional throughout the conversation. By maintaining these qualities, you should experience no problems or concerns.
It was during covid, they were hiring anyone that could pass a background check. The "interview" was basically questions like "what shift would you prefer to work" and "do you think you can handle the physical demands of the job"
