I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart (Chattanooga, TN) in Jun 2014
Interview
I applied online and got a call back about two weeks later for an in store interview, I was then told if they were to offer me a job they would call later that day or the next. They called me a few hours later and asked if I could come in the next day for a job offer, I had the option of Electronics, Women's wear or Cashier. They all held the same pay, 7.65, but different hours with Electronics being the most hours at 35. I choose Electronics and set up a date for orientation. We had orientation a few days later, the same people who were with me during the job offer were at orientation. We then had a day off and then training, CBLs. We went to the floor after we completed all of our CBLs, I personally had 80 something.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All the questions are very standard and my interviewing hardly let me finish before going on to the next question, it was all just formalities for her.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart in Aug 2025
Interview
Super easy and casual. Asked my availability and previous work experience and then just explained the job to me. Took about ten minutes, just be available and agreeable and you’ll get it.
Sat there was asked questions interviewer wasn't really interested in what I had to say and wrote out what they wanted to hear and offered the position on the spot
Easy, it was like one question that was related to my customer service experience and knowledge. Basically, it was confirming that you are a functioning human capable of helping customers.
