I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Post Falls, ID) in Nov 2010
Interview
I applied online. I was called back just over a week later on a Monday and scheduled the interview for later that same night. Went into the store and they took me back to the personnel office. I was interviewed by one of the assistant managers and she just asked me simple questions about my education and why I chose to apply for that position. Then she asked me 3 situation questions. Afterwards, she said my inexperience shouldn't be a problem and that I should expect to get a call in the following days to come in again. The following day (Tuesday), they called my references I provided. Then Wednesday, I received another call to come in that same day, so I did. While there, I was given the job offer and told I would be required to take a background check and drug test. So I signed a form about the background job then was told to take the drug test at a different site. So I did, and Thursday, I received the call saying I passed and that orientation would be the following Tuesday.

Was quick and easy! Showed up for hiring event and got hired on the spot! And started working like a week later. Been a good company so far. Spoke with Kiera. She is very nice and understanding.
Did not have an actual interview; I just called customer service and asked to be transferred to the hiring manager. She then proceeded to schedule a day for me to go in person. That day the hiring managerjust gave me a schedule and what day i would start
