will have face to face interview with HR and Head of buying department, doing presentation and asking many job related questions , environment is good and friendly very nice well
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (London, England) in Nov 2019
Interview
I first apply to the buyer role on the Disney platform. It is all automated and you can follow the 4-5 steps linked to your application. I thought I was going to have a first phone call with HR but my application directly jumped from "Submitted" to "Interview". I then received an email asking when I was available. First red flag was that I didn't even get to give my availabilities since they only interviewed on one special day at a given time that suited them.
I was then told that I would be interviewed by the E-commerce director only.
When I came to the interview there was actually the Buying director that came along, which I didn't know about.
They then started asking questions where I was supposed to answer with STAR. They didn't pick up on anything I was saying. It was questions, answer and move on to the next question.
I really found the interview quite cold and left feeling really unsettled as I was really happy to be able to interview with them. They didn't care much about my background nor care to make conversation with me.
When I asked for feedback on my application and what they like about me, the buying director only looked briefly at my resume and said I should have put the skills at the front.
