I had a first interview with HR. It went well, they were nice, we were talking about general expectations and experiences. Then I asked about the salary. Their budget of 50.000 CZK gross per month is ridiculously low for a German native speaker, for a job in Prague, for a job in 2023. Seeing their average salary in the US, it is also quite insulting.

It was very professional and well-organized, really enjoyable if I was not so stressed out. The first round was a simple screening interview with the recruiter and the conversation was like two friends talking. The second round was with my potential superior, the department lead, and that was already difficult for me
