      Application

The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Wells Fargo (Oxnard, CA) in Aug 2010

      Interview

Day 1: I applied online for a Wells Fargo job as a teller. I completed the application and was sent email stating that in the next 24 hours I will receive another email to take the personality screening test. Day2: I received the email for the screening test and I took and passed the test. I receive the 1888 number that I had to call for an over the phone interview within the next 24 hours. That day I called the number and was interviewed over the phone. I was a bit nervous about it so I don't know how I did. The recruiter told me that a phone call or email will contact me about a further interview. Its been a day so far and haven't heard back. I applied to a couple branches within my area. I went online to check my profile on the Wells Fargo website and it said I was declined for one of the branches I applied to. I dont know about the rest of them. Hopefully I'll hear from them soon. I'm going over to talk to my brother who's been working for Wells Fargo for 13 years and I'm gonna ask him for any advice. I'll post an update soon. My question to anyone is if you get a group interview right after the phone interview? Does the recruiter give you an appointment right away? Or does it take days before you hear anything?

Smooth interview just be genuine and transparent on goals and what values you can add to the company. Wells Fargo is big on customer service so they’ll ask you plenty of scenario style questions, relating to the customer experience and how you will act.

      Interview

A 30min interview lasted only half the time with interviewer sounding robotic reading from script. Lack of compassion and human side to it. Interviewer had attitude as if unhappy with the job.
