I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wells Fargo (Salt Lake City, UT) in Feb 2015
Interview
First interview was on the phone with the director of the summer program. I was notified within a couple days to schedule my second (final) interview with her in their office. At the interview, there was a director for the program and another higher up manager from another city. I was only asked behavioral questions on the phone, but I was asked some technical questions in person. It was nothing too hard, but if you had taken accounting or finance, you would know the answer. It helped that I reviewed financial statements before I went to the interview. After the second interview though, they took a long time to contact me back about the result.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to change what you have been doing
The first part was scheduling a phone interview which was pretty easy where I was asked behavioral questions and one technical question. The next round was an in person interview with two VPs and that was pretty much all behavioral questions.
Very smooth... phone screen and then met with the team in the office shortly after. I received a call from HR after the weekend. The interview process felt very organized.
I applied online. I interviewed at Wells Fargo (Boise, ID) in Apr 2021
Interview
Very casual interview process. One over-the-phone 30 minute interview and one panel interview over zoom for 30 minutes as well. Standard behavioral questions paired with a few technical questions, such as describing the 3 financial statements and explaining times when financial application was needed.
