Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell us about a time when you dealt with difficult stakeholders at work and how did you influence them?
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Wise in Feb 2021
Interview
Excessively long interview process for the level of the role. 5 interviews for ~1 hour each and a case study presentation. Many of the interviews could have been combined to have a shorter process.
There was a case study with vague questions, but it seems it was an exercise in guessing what metrics match what TransferWise uses, not an analytical exercise.
Some of the interviewers were either bad at or inexperienced with interviewing and asked questions that didn’t make sense,
making it difficult to answer questions properly.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Wise (New York, NY) in Sep 2020
Interview
My application was shortlisted after I applied through LinkedIn. The next step was phone interview with the HR.
Unfortunately, I didn't make it past the HR round. But later I discovered that the HR team follows unprofessional and unethical practices. This HR has blacklisted my profile so that all my future applications bounce back within one hour.
I don't see any valid reason why my application should be blacklisted. It was never blacklisted by Amazon, Facebook, Google or other companies who have interviewed me during the same period for similar roles. But this HR clearly seems to be missuisng his rights & duties.
