I interviewed for the Senior Campaign Analyst role at Wynn, progressing through multiple rounds with increasing focus on technical skills, behavioral insights, and industry-specific knowledge.
The initial rounds involved discussions on marketing strategies, customer engagement, and campaign effectiveness. I answered scenario-based questions, shared project experiences, and addressed technical concepts like machine learning, A/B testing, and data integrity. Communication skills and adaptability were also emphasized, along with my ability to explain analytics to non-technical audiences.
Later rounds delved into personalization, collaboration across teams, and rapid implementation of insights. I discussed my motivation for the role, problem-solving approaches, and openness to learning about the casino industry. The VP interview included a task to submit SQL code for review, with next steps depending on its evaluation.
After a few followups they told me they were moving in a different direction. Despite doing 4 rounds I got no feedback.
